Nov 17 1968 Aircraft dropped from U.S. Air Force inventory as a combat loss, total hours of flight on the airframe are currently unknown.

An F-100 and an O-2 collided in mid-air over South Vietnam. It is very possible that the O-2 was at that time controlling the air strike for the F-100 mission. Fortunately, for both pilots, they survived the mid-air collision and were rescued by Jolly Green 15 which was flown by USAF Lt Col Royal Brown.
