It is with much regret to write this, but while I was paying a one day visit to the Estrella Warbirds Museum in Paso Robles, California on Friday August 6th 2010, I learned that Mr. Glen Thomason had passed away of cancer this past January 2010, Mr. Thomson was the former owner of O-2A Skymaster s/n 68-11041/N1041. I had met Mr. Thomson back in August of 2009 while making my very first visit to the Estrella Warbirds Museum, he had helped just complete a ferry flight in a C-47 Skytrain, when I first spoke to him and told him what I was doing there, he was more than happy to show me his O-2 which at that time was in a hanger and being repaired, but he was so proud of that aircraft, Mr. Thomson was a very nice man and he'll be missed by many at the Museum.
