Sep 1967 To 14th Air Commando Wing (Pacific Air Forces), Nha Trang Air Base, Vietnam. Jun 1969 To 14th Special Operations Wing (Pacific Air Forces), Tan Son Nhut Air Base, Vietnam. (deployment to Da Nang Air Base, Vietnam) Jul 1969 To Nha Trang Air Base, Vietnam. Oct 1969 To Phan Rang Air Base, Vietnam. (deplotment to Bien Hoa Air Base, Vietnam) Aug 1971 To 315th Tactical Airlift Wing (Pacific Air Forces), Phan Rang Air Base, Vietnam. (during this time 21465 was flown by USAF Capt Myron Janzen, whom is volunteer for the Kansas Aviation Museum and currently taking care O-2B s/n 67-21469. Jan 1972 To 77th Tactical Airlift Group (Pacific Air Forces), Tan Son Nhut Air Base, Vietnam. Feb 1972 To Military Aircraft Storage and Disposition Center, Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson, Arizona. Jan 1973 To 111th Ogden Air Logistics Group (Air national Guard), Willow Groove, Navel Air Station (NAS), Pennsylvania. Mar 1973 To 163rd Tactical Air Support Group, 196th Tactical Air Support Squadron, where the Crew Chief named it "Princess" (Air National Guard), Ontario, Municipal Airport, California. In 1982 O-2B 21465 went on static display at the March Field Air Museum in Riverside, CA with a total of 4,696 flight hours to it's credit. |
