 Manufactured by Cessna Aircraft in Wichita, Kansas and gained by the U.S. Air Force on August 31st 1967. Civilian construction number 337M-0076. Oct 1967 To 504th Tactical Air Support Group, 22nd Tactical Air Support Squadron (Pacific Air Forces), Binh Thuy Air Base, Vietnam. Mar 1968 To Phan Rang Air Base, Vietnam. May 1968 Aircraft dropped from U.S. Air Force inventory as a combat loss, hours on the airframe are unknown. Additional note: the aircraft was actually lost on May 10th 1968 when it ran out of fuel, another O-2A also ran out of fuel the next day and both aircrew's survived the crashes. |
